The problem
Why a rectangle doesn’t always fit
If a wall is out of plumb by even a few millimetres over a panel’s height, a rectangular panel leaves a tapered gap on one side or won’t fit at all. Toughened glass can’t be trimmed after it’s made, so the shape has to be right before it’s made.

Run-outs, tapers and notches
In the panel builder you enter your width and heights, then tell it how far each wall is out of plumb (and which way), and how far the floor is out of level and which side is lower. You can also measure each side instead. Add a notch on any corner, with its own width, height and run-outs. The builder draws the panel to scale and updates the price as you go.

Measuring
How to measure an out-of-square opening
Use a spirit level and a tape measure. Measure the width at the top and the bottom, the height on each side, then hold the level against each wall to see how far it leans over the panel’s height. Do you adjust my sizes to allow for gaps?
No. Enter the finished glass sizes. We cut exactly to what you enter, and if there’s a problem with your sizes we’ll contact you before we cut.
Can I get holes or hinge cutouts?
Notches can be ordered online. For holes or hinge cutouts, contact us for a quote.
What’s the minimum glass around a notch?
At least 50 mm of glass around a notch.
Do prices include GST?
Yes. Every price on the site is in Australian dollars and includes GST, and your cart shows the GST amount.
Do you measure or install?
No. We supply glass only. You (or your installer) measure and fit it. Our measuring guide walks you through it.
