Table tops
Toughened glass table tops
For dining tables, coffee tables, outdoor settings and desks, choose toughened safety glass with a polished edge. Clear, low iron (extra clear) and grey tint are popular choices, in 6 to 12 mm depending on the glass.
Protectors
Furniture and desk protectors
Want to protect a timber or stone surface? Standard (annealed) glass cut to the shape of the top works well where it sits flat and fully supported. Choose an arrissed or polished edge.
Shelving
Glass shelves
Toughened glass shelves for cabinets, display units, bathrooms and alcoves. Low iron glass keeps colours true in display cabinets. Tell us about your brackets in the order notes if you’re unsure about thickness.
Splashbacks
Splashbacks
Clear or low iron toughened glass can be cut to size for splashbacks. Back-painted splashbacks, power point cutouts and holes aren’t available online yet — contact us for a quote.
Common questions
What thickness should a glass table top be?
As a guide, 6 mm suits a protector sitting on a solid surface, 8–10 mm suits most coffee and dining table tops on a supporting frame, and 12 mm suits large or self-supporting tops. Check with your furniture maker or installer for your design.
What is the largest piece I can order?
Up to 3000 x 2000 mm (long side up to 3000 mm, short side up to 2000 mm). Panels larger than 1000 x 2100 mm need a second person to help lift on delivery.
Can toughened glass be trimmed later?
No. Toughened glass can’t be cut, drilled or re-edged after it’s made, so double-check your sizes before you order.
Do prices include GST?
Yes. Every price on the site includes GST, and your cart shows the GST amount.
